Two island clans use a yearly bride offering to keep the peace, but an accidental steamy encounter threatens to change things forever! Rival island clans have kept the peace for years through an annual bride offering made by the weaker clan, but the son of that clan's chief is tired of this archaic system and intends to shake things up. Unfortunately, fate intervenes, and before he's able to put his plan into place, he finds himself at his rival's mercy in more ways than one! Far off in the ocean exists a mysterious island inhabited by two rival clans. To keep the peace, the Tangata clan provides a yearly offering of one of their warriors to the more powerful Miyaru, who are said to be descended from sharks! Avel, the Tangata chief's son, is growing increasingly dissatisfied with this arrangement.and with the Miyaru. When he is attacked by a jungle cat, a member of the Miyaru clan, Tukiri, comes to his rescue. Surprised by his rival's friendly, gentle nature, Avel lets his guard down, but when Tukiri notices Avel is bleeding, his demeanor suddenly changes-and so does his appearance!
