I reserved the “Book Lover’s Happy Hour”. It was tremendous fun! In 2026 I paid 50 pounds and that included a two hour reservation to sit down with one of the proprietors who had pre-selected books for me based upon a survey that I filled out in advance. I also filled out a survey about my cocktail tastes and over the course of the event I had three different cocktails. The drinks were absolutely delicious but even better it was the conversation and the book recommendations. Your fee includes the cost of the drinks as well as three books. This was not only fun, but it was a great deal! Highly recommend shopping with these friendly and knowledgeable folks!

My husband and I did the Gulp Fiction ‘Book Lovers’ Happy Hour’ today. It was excellent - such thoughtful book recommendations and delicious cocktails, all enjoyed in a lovely atmosphere.
