The bar runs later Thursday to Saturday — come for a drink after the shops shut.
Getting here
The Covered Market runs between High Street, Market Street and the Golden Cross. We're a few minutes' walk from Carfax Tower and about ten minutes from Oxford railway station. There's no parking in the market itself — Westgate is the closest car park, and the park and ride services drop you a short walk away.
Click and collect
Order online and choose collection at checkout, and we'll hold your books behind the counter. It's free, and it's usually quicker than posting. We'll email you when they're ready.
Book a table
You can book a table for the bar, and we run Book Lovers' Happy Hour — an hour and a half of curated cocktails matched to books chosen for your taste. We host events too, and the space is available for hire for parties, meetings and talks.
