Peter Hawcroft has lived in Bromsgrove for nearly 50 years. As a distance runner and walker he has visited many locations that other Bromsgrove residents may not necessarily have seen. He has often found himself stopping to appreciate a view and returning later to capture it on camera. In this book Peter shows that you don't have to live in a National Park or photographic hotspot to be surrounded by stunning landscapes. This collection of photographs has been taken throughout the seasons and at different times of the day. They reveal the beauty of the local landscape and include the North Worcestershire Hills, arable land, woods, parkland, canals and country lanes. To encourage people to seek these places out, each image has a grid reference number to assist the reader in finding the location where the photograph was taken. The book also includes a selection of poems that celebrate the countryside in all its glory.
