A dark Australian police procedural packed with revenge, hidden grudges, undetectable murder, and a killer concealed within the community in rural New South Wales. The first murder is obvious. The rest were designed to look like nothing at all. Barry Stanton is found naked and strangled in his bed. The evidence says he had company. The pressure says the first suspect will do. But Detective Inspector Jason Farrell is not convinced. As his team digs into Stanton's private life, a quieter pattern begins to emerge across Kingsbrook: deaths that looked natural, accidents that passed unnoticed, grief that never quite settled. Someone is choosing victims with care. And they know how to make murder look like fate. With a wrongfully accused man in the frame and families hiding wounds of their own, Farrell must connect the deaths before a killer's revenge claims another life - because the most dangerous person in Kingsbrook is hiding in plain sight. The Darkness in Him is the gripping third book in the Detective Jason Farrell series: a tense Australian crime thriller for fans of psychological police procedurals, buried secrets, and revenge plots that turn ordinary lives deadly. ___________________________________________Praise for the Detective Jason Farrell Australian Crime Thrillers:?????
