Murder on Charity Lane : The warm and witty cosy crime series - Jo Nichols

Peace descends on Marigold Cottages after the recent spate of murders, but landlady Mrs B finds the calm unbearable, and she might not be the only one of the eccentric residents secretly craving another mystery. So, when Mrs B invites Ocean's vivacious new girlfriend CJ Moore to move into one of the cottages, it is partly a characteristically kind gesture but also an excuse to sleuth. CJ is a suspect in the killing of her wealthy employer, which means that the Marigold Cottages Murder Collective have a second case on their hands. However, when another murder follows, it seems their community is in jeopardy and the pressure is on to prove CJ's innocence - or accept her guilt.
